I have been banging on about Abbey Lee since last season, when she graced practically every fashion week catwalk in London, Paris, Milan and NY.
And since then, she has been featured on the cover of every fashion magazine but I am totally in love with her current cover and spread for Australian Vogue.

Digital print is indeed everywhere, as numerous designers have followed in the footsteps of the digi-pioneers; Basso & Brooke over the past few years.
But one new designer who has been standing out of the print-crazy crowd is Mary Katrantzou. The Greek born – Central St Martins trained designer, wowed crowds at her SS 2010 show in London last September, with her impressive prints on silk dresses.
Her creative style and repeated winning of New Gen funding obviously caught the eyes of the Topshop designer scouts too and now Katrantzou is set to release a mini collection for Topshop during London Fashion Week.
The collection comprises of three printed t-shirt style dresses and a body suit (which is in my opinion, the pièce de résistance).

I don’t know about you guys but I for one have been lusting after that studded headwrap by Jennifer Behr for a few months now and just to torture myself some more, I tried the little bugger on, on a recent trip to Dover St Market.
That obviously didn’t help the obsession – in fact, it made it so much worse.
But the money fairy hasn’t yet deposited a spare £500 into my bank account (outrageous, I know!), so I thought, what the hell. I’ll do my my own bit of studding….
So I took myself down to my favourite Central London haberdashery shop… bought some studs… went home and chopped up some super thick tights… added the former to the latter and hey-studdy-presto!!
I now have my own version of studded heaven, in the form of a headband.
DIY headband, nautical striped blazer from a car boot sale, LnA Tshirt, Topshop jeans and music = ‘Personal Jesus’ by Depeche Mode.

I have just come across something so so so good.
Plot is a multidisciplinary creative team, consisting of a strategist, a writer, a graphic designer, an art director and a jeweller. The main foundations for their creations stem from the idea that ‘data is beautiful’….and mama mia, isn’t it just!?!
Their first jewellery collection ‘The Jewellery Plot’ has made me so happy that I could almost cry (yeah, I’m a sensitive thing).
Having lifted graphs from the financial pages of newspapers, Plot then transformed this data into wearable pieces of art.
Have you seen the prices of gold and oil lately???…
Plot is like a huge orgy of intelligence, art, humour and style. It’s just too good.
You have to check out their website and treat yourself to one of the limited edition necklaces. Only 35 pieces of this first collection have been produced (by hand!!) and in addition to buying them from the website, you’ll also find them stocked in Beyond The Valley and Luna & Curious.
Facts are now the only things I’ll be wearing around my neck.

Yesterday was a weird one. I got an unexpected phone call from one of my best friends, telling me he was at the airport and was being deported to Japan in a few hours. Frantic, i rushed to Heathrow to have an hour of laughs and tears before the time came. Not sure when I’ll see you next, Tomoya. Love you so much….And your plimpsoles.
